Reminiscent of the early days of railroads the RS Laserkits Single Stall Engine House and Side Shop is a blend of several of the features seen on many of the short lines, logging bases, and mines throughout the country. These structures allowed typical maintenance and storage for a wide range of locomotive and rolling stock services. These scenes are reflected in the older photographs of yesteryears railroads. These kits have full inside framing.

A small structure based on a design by Paul Templar. Has Saloon doors and all signs as shown. Also has a glue down tar paper roof. The saloon is named for the husband of one of my co-workers that has cancer and could not find a Saloon for his layout.

One of the 5 structures in our new complex of kits. With a foot print of 3.5" by 3.5" this makes for a main industry. It includes 2 different roof signs, laser cut plywood walls, laser cut widows and trim, plus glazing, loading dock stairs and foundation (pre-production model shown).
Second structure for the Feed and Seed complex is a 5 Bay Open Storage Shed. Laser kit stud back and end wall framing with plywood sheeting for the exterior walls and enough to sheet the inside of any two interior bays. Roll roofing is included. With a foot print of 1.5" by 4.5" it has plenty of storage room.
Out house’s were an icon until the late 50 in most of rural America and still many are in use today. The kit includes 3 unique out houses with seats. Two single stall and one two stall. Use them behind the house or barn, or in your yard so your train crew has a place to go read.

Based on one of many log cabins built by the early settlers all over the country. Many are still being used today as summer or hunting camps and at resorts as overnight lodgings.

This kit is based on one used by the Manary Logging Co. in the 1920's. It also could be used today as a flower-garden shop or Artist Studio and look great. All 20 of the front and side widows are laser cut as double hung and can be positioned in any open layout you want. The kit is supplied with skids and all the parts are laser cut from micro plywood, the only parts not supplied are the cast detail parts
This car can be mounted on your flat car or set on the supplied skids. Either was used in the log camps. The kit is laser cut using micro plywood and all glazing material is supplied, the roofing is glue down tar paper.

Here's a structure found on every railroad in any town. Little loading docks like these have been used since the start of railroading and are still in use today. They service the industries that do not have access to a siding so thy can unload rail cars, semi trucks etc.
Footprint: The dock is 10 by 40 feet with a positionable ramp of 10 by 19 feet.

Carl’s cabin is like many that were found in logging and mining camps. Today you will find them used as hunting camps, vacation getaways and can even be used as a wrong side of the tracks house.

Speeders were used on all railroads, big or small and they all needed a place to store and work on them when not in use. This kit based on one that was in an Ad photo by the late John Allen and is small enough it will fit almost anywhere. The kit includes laser cut parts plus code 40 rail for the speeder track and a Tichy barrel for the fuel tank. plus a Speeder by Stony Smith.
